Getting there
Feb. 5th, 2017 04:25 amIt's been a hectic few weeks since our last court date. We have about 2 weeks until our next one. So far, Thomas got a job, finished his background check, fingerprinting, and training. He is more or less ready to start working immediately!
This week we went to Homebase. So far, it looks like they can either 1.) help us stay 2.) help us leave. Pretty basic stuff. It's a complicated case, and because of that, I really want to take some time on Monday and put my thoughts together. Bullet points of the main topics/issues regarding this entire situation.
Ideally, I'm hoping they'll assist us with relocation services and getting on public assistance. We are going back Tuesday at 8a. I also managed to get in with Legal Aid Society. I called during intake (very likely I was the first person to call). They should call be back before the end of day Monday.
I think we finally got the ball rolling. Well, maybe I wouldn't say that just yet. We found the ball. Now we just have to kick it.
Now, there is one thing left - find myself a job. I think I mentioned before that I really feel it's time to look outside the box. I think overall, I'm going to stop doing whatever I'm doing now because clearly, it's not working. I am thinking of looking into nonprofits, as well as some kind of remote clerical and/or customer service type jobs. I might do a little googling tonight (technically it's morning) before going to bed. I am already tired, it's 4:20a.
Been on ESO a lot lately. Starting to feel like I want to play something different. I really want to try other builds, but just thinking about leveling them up is turning me off. Can't believe I've been raiding too. There is *some* drama with one of the newer guilds Nicole and I joined. It's a long story. It's not really that important either. Overall, 2017 is going to be a great year for this game. Playing housing, expansion, a new class. Among so many other things. I'm so ready for something new.
