Great day

[december_solstice]

I went to the store early yesterday morning. Ended up spending about $10 on stuff to make sandwiches, vegetables, and a roast. Ate, did some stuff (which I can't remember), then went to relax in bed. Ended up taking an extended nap and waking up as the sun went down. Great thing is, I didn't oversleep TOO MUCH to where I couldn't sleep at all last night. When I got up last night, I was in no mood what so ever to cook dinner. Almost went to IHOP, ended up at BK. Wish we stuck w/ IHOP, at least I could have had my pancakes. Would have cost the same, honestly. And, I would die just a little bit slower. LOL.

I'm up today at 6:30am, and more or less ready to take on my day. I'm going to take a quick cold shower to freshen up, then go to the store. I got some wiggle room with expenses, so I can splurge a little bit at the store. Probably going to buy some bananas, yogurt, some kind of chocolate almond/cashew/soy/coconut/rice milk, maybe peanut butter, the daily home-made french bread baguettes, some eggs, bacon, more cheese...then something for lunch... but I haven't quite figured that out yet...thinking pulled chicken/BBW sandwiches. Gotta eat that roast tonight. Not sure what we're going to do with it honestly. It's pre-sliced pork roast. I was legit thinking of roasting some stew veggies, then just making gravy for the pork. Could do salmon and salad...

Anywho, its' already 7am, and I've been typing this and making a shopping list for 30 minutes now. At this point, I might just wash my face and leave.

Jokes on her, though. I'm done dealing with her shit, man. I mean common, there is a difference between having a heated discussion...an argument...and not seeing eye-to-eye, and being a nasty bully to your best friend. We don't argue, she just spends a lot of time being a salty, sassy, asshole.

Other great news? Things are looking good for us in terms of the landlord/eviction/lawyer situation. I requested my apartment's DHCR rent history early this week and it looks like we're in the clear in terms of whether or not the lease has been reinstated. Everything the landlord is trying to do, the money he's trying to extort from us...100% illegal. Talked on the phone with my Mom about this for almost an hour last night. Making progress through this has really reignited my fire...both in myself, and just in the justice system...faith in humanity restored LOL, nah, let's not get ahead of ourselves. Faith in humanity is still kinda on the low side lmfao. As for our landlord...well...he will get his.

and you can make it in like 10 minutes from start to finish! adding more vegetables is better but they don't have to "cook", they can just get warm. (only onions have to cook any amount.)

My favorite thing to eat with eggs is spinach, tomato, scallions and just a drop or 2 of thai fish sauce. I also like it with tuna or salmon.
