december_solsticeI've been meaning to make an update all week but it just never happened.
I've been working a lot on my new lifestyle blog. It's really coming together very nicely. I am proud of it. BUT, I'm not getting much traffic. I mean, yeah, it's been like...barely over a week. However, gaining any momentum on social media has been...bleak. So far, I've noticed Twitter is doing pretty decently for me, and think I really need to work on one to build the others. Yeah? I assume so...maybe.
Also, if things go as planned, I may perhaps have a job interview for a adminstrative position sometime next week - more or less what I had done for the 3ish years before I started staying at home trying to do other things. As much as I wish I could monetize off personal projects, we really can't afford me not working and turning a real profit.
We\re a month behind on the rent, per usual (once u get behind...that's it yall, it's nearly impossible to catch up), and it's been really tough just trying to get the landlord some money. I'm going to attempt to get them half before the 5th. Well attempt...is the special word there...
On Monday, I'm going to print, scan and email out the lease renewel (at least we were extended one, right?!), but I have no idea if/when I'll be able to send out the included additional security deposit. More than likely, we're going to end up having to look into emergency cash assistance next week. Thing is, we've had ZERO luck with that in the past, but it looks like we're just going to have to gather what we have, and go down to a job center. Still need to grab a new ss card as well. There is a lot of paperwork in the near future. I need to put this stuff in my calender...
All I know is, this week? It's going to be a TOUGH week. Tough. T-O-U-G-H
