Starting this bullet journal. Ok. So. This is probably the god-damn best idea I’ve ever had…anddd it’s totally not MY idea, I just sort of ran into the idea when looking at journaling crap on Pinterest.
Anywho, bullet journaling is more or less just a DIY planner. You can make it however you want. You’re basically designing this journal/planner to suit your needs. I’m using mine to track daily habits, food/recipes, goal setting, actual journaling, and ultimately to stay organized.
For the most part, I’ve been feeling like my life is very cluttered. And, this happens when you have a lot going on, and/or are working on several projects at once. So far, I’m already saving myself a lot of time and effort.
It is my daily habits tracker that has really made the most impact on me. Just marking off my daily tasks has really got me feeling and being more productive.
Today, I did a little bit of poetry writing after discovering there are zero free (worthy) poetry courses on Udemy. I ended up just watching/listening to a bit of Sarah Kay (spoken word) and trying to discover what type of poetry I’d like to write. Already, I know I want to focus on story-telling. I’m not very interested in the lyrical aspect of poetry (you know, the word play, repetition, rhythm, rhyme ect.)
I updated Ovia, I worked on my courses, I ran my errands, I did all my minor and major tasks for the day, and I did some writing. It was a VERY successful day.
BTW I am STARVING right now. It’s 4:30am and I am not even slightly tired. (Just hungry and cold.) A terrible combination if I might add. I didn’t get to bed until 9am this morning and I woke up 5-6 hours later. I’m surprised I am not exhausted. I really should be sleeping/resting. I have to run errands tomorrow because we’ve got a blizzard coming this weekend.
