Amazing how things can change in a matter of days.

Money started pouring in from 2 different locations. It in times like these that I am so greatful for having generous and loyal friends, and also several different outlets of income. A few years ago I really wanted to establish something like this so I didn't need to rely on one source of income.

I have little income coming in from a few different places goes a long way.

For me, though I don't have a "real" job right now, I make a little money from my book sales, a little from my courses, a little from freelancing, and picking up odd writing jobs.

Anywho, we managed a little money from one of my husband's best friend, a little from my Mom, and I did a few urgent (overnight) freelancing orders. Then, this morning we planned to sell some games at Gamestop to make another $20 bucks or so, but ended up just doing a trade for a game. Now we got more than enough money to make it till the 30th. All we had to do was be a little creative. That's life!

Here comes the, "See -- God is good." And, believe me, I tried not to roll my eyes.

Good people are good. Being resourceful is good. I don't think this was luck, or divine intervention. This it was the cause and effect of previously made decisions.

My husband is going to be working a lot of overtime next week for Halloween-related events at school. So, that'll be a total win-win. Hopefully he'll bring home some goodies and that overtime won't hurt either.

Oh you know what I hate? When someone actually took a lot of effort to plan, organize, etc. a big event - then people go there and afterwards say "oh I'm so glad God blessed us with this" or something like that (can't remember the exact wording they tend to use).

For goodness' sake, NO! That was this poor guy's hard work and effort that made it go so well and you're just brushing it off with "it was god" as if god came down and moved his hands for him or something! It's like they don't think that other people actually exist and that their actions actually matter. I understand talking about god when it's really an act of pure luck or coincidence but c'mon...
