Today and everything about today was a grand success.
I did it, guys. I got my fucking ID.
Wow that took way too long. I didn't think I had such a problem with procrastination...ugh who am I kidding. LOL
Guess how old I'll be when it expires? 30. Let's try not to mope and cry about that, but yes, in 4.5 yrs I will literally be 30 years old. I want to cry...LOL
I wonder if I'll know how to drive by then...why do I feel like that is highly unlikely?
I had a great day, yall. Like legit. I had a great day. Tomorrow will be great too, I kind of feel it. I was in and out of the DMV with very little fuss. There were a few hickups but it was OK.
When we arrived, there was a long line and an irate ex-con yelling and causing a big scene. Getting up in the face of the reps. They ended up calling the cops. The woman I was with was paranoid as hell. She was jittery because something like this had happened to her before in the past. She was probably afraid someone would get hurt or shot -- understandable. Cops. Ex-con. Guns. NYC. Put 6 and 3 together, you get a bad time. Otherwise, it really wasn't half bad.
I also finally went to White Castle for the first time today. Can you believe I've lived in NY for...5 years, and haven't even been to a White Castle?
Found out last night my application was cleared for one of the jobs I applied for yesterday. :) There is a waiting list and a test, and I don't know if I'll even be good at this...andddd it's not all set in stone, but shit, it's kind of nice to know I still got it. LOL Whatever that means. It's just nice to see employers interested. Rejections are hard, you know?
