I want to keep this short because I'm suppose to be out the door really soon (run errands.)

THINGS THAT HAPPENED:

MY EBT/SNAP/Food stamps went thru. $523.00, can you believe that shit? Just seeing things actually fall into place, and what I need to happen actual;ly happen, is just mind boggling to me. Shows how little faith I have in anything. This def gives me hope.

Called Homebase again (update from the court/trial a week ago), no pick-up, waiting to see if I get a call back. Seems like I';m going to just walk-in.

I more or less have to go to the main welfare center before the end of the week to finish my cash assistance case. In other news, I have to upload Tom's first paycheck on to my benefits account as well.

Still nothing on my tax return. It seems my fed. refund got applied to some kind of debt. I am hoping that won't be the case for my state refund, but there def. is a chance/liklihood to that. I'm not going to stress myself over it though. We're entering the new month with about $300 and $500 (+new month) in food stamps. We're getting our needs taken care of and that's honestly all I could wish for.

Tonight or tomorrow, I want to take the time to apply for at least 1-2 jobs (and really put some time and effort into a cover letter).

About to go meet Thomas/pick him up from the train station, and go buy a few things we need for the house + probably pick up dinner. I've been watching "Call the Midwife" on Netflix and really enjoy it. I'm probably going to binge the hell out of it tonight! Maybe quest a little bit in ESO too. Chill night, that's all I know.

On my end I've been guarenteed about $100 a month in disability benefit money and hopefully 20hr/week in "sight guide" time (my wife being my designated sight guide, she'd get paid for it). Apparently if an outsider were my guide I'd be guarenteed even 30hrs but the guys in charge love claiming everything is "family time" instead of "real guided time" when your family member is the guide so it's harder to get it accepted... like even if i'm going to shops because /i/ want to and my wife doesn't want to, so otherwise i'd have to hire an outsider, they still claim it's family time.

and i found out i can sometimes buy frozen natto here!! a chinese brand is sold in the chinese/"asian" shop sometimes. using that as my starter hopefully all my future natto batches will work out great and get properly "stringy"...
