The tips don't really help me - I naturally reread my stuff tons, and as for everything else, it sounds like they're thinking that you're stuck on like entire chapters and large plotpoints. I'm stuck sentence-by-sentence and writing 500-word fics LOL

BTW my tip is simply "stop caring about the quality of your work and simply write SOMETHING"

you can fix it later, and even if you can't, there's a lot of people out there with awful taste who will like it anyway. just look at Twilight...

This cracked me the hell up because my mom LOVES Twilight lmfao

You're so right though. Everyone has different taste. Good writing is so subjective. #1 rule of writing. There really isn't any rules. I mean THERE ARE, but doesn't mean those rules have anything to do with how the audience will receive your writing.

I tend to re-read and do a lot of editing while writing, but I don't read like... a whole week's or month's work several months later (though I should.)

I usually get stuck by the chunks. Like for example, yesterday, I put in 10 pages of my manuscript for this play I started earlier this summer. It's been at least...3-4 months since I looked at it. I have a general idea of where I want the story to go and I think I want to turn it into a radio play (kind of like a podcast).

Right now my main concern is to authenticate it, to not make it too predictable, to humanize every character.
