So, I wanted to make note of something really funny that happened on ESO a few nights ago. Someone in a new guild of mine (who is now an officer) was being SUPER perv-y the other night. Not like directly at me, though. He was talking about weird shit like getting fucked by horses (and their 12in. dicks), and how horrible it would be getting a blow job from an orc. I shit you not.

He went on to talk about more personal stuff regarding his relationship with his fiance (long distance) and how he was basically always horny. We talked a bit about how much sex changes in relationships and with age. Stuff like that.

He said something like, "If I felt this would make my girlfriend uncomfortable, I probably wouldn't say it." Referring to us discussing sex. Though I don't doubt that many relationships are indeed that open, I could sense some guilt there.

At one point, he caught himself, and realized he didn't know how old I was, and that he just more or less started talking very explicitly to a random person in his guild. LOL.

He was also asking for my opinion on having another partner, for sex, while your significant other is away. Along with thoughts on group sex.

Aside from the obvious elder schools fan fic bestiality, I didn't really find it too weird, tbh. I've always been fairly open about sex and sexuality. I think sex is natural and normal and really should be a topic that can be openly discussed.

I've ran into some interesting folks lately. The night before, I spoke for hours with a guy just about the game and builds. I've also been playing daily w/ what my bff calls my "new ESO best friend". LOL. I admit, it's nice. I really look forward to chatting with these folks. I don't have many friends so it adds some variety to my life. LOL. That sounds really sad when I say it.

it used to be that only weird people were on the internet. now that's not the case anymore, but only weird people get *that* into videogames so uh yeah. (i like videogames, i just recognize that normal people do other things in life.)

Aha, you're right. I definitely attract weird folks...and I really do love weird people. I love people who are apologetically themselves and couldn't give a fudge pop about what others think about what they like, how they live, ect. I feel like, in public, I try really hard to not be so god-damn weird, but I'm so weird. LOL. When you're naturally weird, you notice when people try to be weird (or different).

LOL

Sometimes I think about...just how different I am from my parents or best friend. In so many ways I feel like they make huge efforts to fit into society. Even if, say, they are "alternative" or live an alternative lifestyle, like to be "different" they're still different in a way that is popular...it's hard for me to explain. I just feel like a lot of people aren't truly being themselves, and in a lot of way,s they don't even KNOW they are not being themselves because of the strong societal influences and the need to be included, liked and fit in.

And I think people are really missing out. When you stop worrying about being included, accepted, being liked, fitting in, that's when you really figure out what makes you happy. That's when you find out what you REALLY like to do. And, once you get there, heck, you won't even care about what anyone else thinks because you're happy.

yeah, that's what i really like about sweden. people conform to things but they're still WAY much more themselves compared to americans. i mean, there's punk priests and nurses. there's a guy in my singing club who just had a kid, who's deaf in one ear and wears a fur-lined coat he sewed himself. there's a lot of things that go on in this country but i've never heard of anyone made fun of for liking or doing something weird - people instead go "oh i've never heard of that, what's that? sounds interesting". it's not just with general activities, it's also stuff like what music you listen to - there are no themed radio stations here. all the radio stations play ALL kinds of music, both new and old, both translated and not.

where people probably conform the most (aside from general social customs, ex. how to handle a conversation) is clothing - except not SO much even then. i've been in the store and seen guys in ripped, neon sparkly pants hanging out next to goths and normal people. old men are walking around wearing hot pink shorts. every itme there's any event in town i see at least one person in some kind of cosplay or green wig. incredible stuff, when you're used to america...

That's amazing, honestly. I mean, there is definitely room for weird in NYC, but aside from major metro areas, with a lot of young people, it's often not good to stand out. For me, I'm super-vanilla. I like really basic, classic, easy to wear clothing. Comfort is #1 for me. Things like...not shaving my legs or wearing a bra in public would seem insane to my mother. But, for me, I just don't give a fuck. LOL. In my mind, so what they see a nipple or a hair. It ain't the end of the world. What could that possibly mean? Nothing.

When it comes to the arts, I like all kinds of stuff. My favorite genre of music is symphonic metal. Like Nightwish. Classical. I also like folk-anything. Ethnic genres. I like to listen to different stuff. Very lyrical stuff. Underground hip hop and rap is good. Ever heard of Bobby Raps or Corbin or Spooky Black? I like to listen to slam poetry too. LOL.

I don't listen to hiphop, rap, slam poetry or metal lol... I basically listen to very certain instrumental music, jpop and "nordic pop" (soft music). But actually I've barely been listening to any music at all for the past 6 years - I got super depressed and stopped listening, then now my house is so noisy I just take any peace and quiet I can get.

I feel you. Music used to be such a huge part of my life. It's how I copped emotionally. Now, I'm really noticing how much my choice is music, or just...any type of entertainment I indulge in, really effects my state of mind. I stay away from violent or dramatic entertainment and opt in for more calming and things that speak more closely to the soul. Good feeling music. Oh and folk. Folk everything LOL! This is what I listen to when I need a kick:
