Me? In Premed? Me? Doctor? HAH.
Oct. 14th, 2015 11:38 pmThough I would not go into Medicine, getting these types of emails makes me really miss being a student. Reminds me of how much I really love academia. It's important for me to not dwell, but to push forward instead. I think eventually I would really like to go back to school. My goal is to be enrolled in grad school next Fall.
So, today, as a way of forcing myself to move forward, I created a Twitter account, a Tumblr, a Facebook page, AND a Instagram all dedicated to getting my writing workshop out there. Everyday I will work on this. At the very least, during the hours that Thomas is working. I need to open up my planner, (the one I bought specifically for grad school D: ), and put it to use. I need to take this seriously, treat it as a full-time job. As soon as I make this profitable, I can invest in better equiptment.
I also reduced my ebook (Kindle version), to 99 cents, and plan to promote that as well using similar platforms.
Goals/Projects
- Post a quality post on my Wordpress once a week on current events and/or other relatable topics.
- Become active on Instagram, Facebook page, Tumblr, & Twitter daily. Every day, provide a post to my course w/ coupon code. But, more importantly, provide quality content.
- Ask friends, writers, anyone interested to take course for free and ask to leave a comment in exchange (would anyone be interested in this?)
- Think of ways to promote my book. (Any one have any suggestions on how to do that?)
