Lost in The Wasteland

I've been AFK for a while. I think my last post was over 2 weeks ago! Can you believe I've been on Live Journal for exactly 3 months today?! I know this because I bought a premium account when I started, and it just ran out last night.

I've been playing a lot of Fallout! Man, it's such a great game!

But, what I really came here to share is...I'm employed! I had an interview this morning for a tutoring gig...and I nailed it! Happy employment :)

We're puffing our chests out and turning death and pain into more or less, a political pissing contest. I mean it's been 48 hours since all of these events look place. *Attention humans!* We can mourn the events in France while also mourning the events in Mexico, Japan, the Middle East. We can care about Syrian Refugees. We can worry about the safety of Muslims as a result of the attack in France. This isn't a question of which lives matter most. We all know they all matter. There are so many better ways to be productive during this time, you know? Like reporting REAL unbiased news, and participating in philanthropy. FYI -- The mainstream media will more than likely focus entirely on France which is understandable at best. Keep in mind, the mainstream media often reports what we report because that means the topic is relevant. Common sense.
