I didn't do NaNo, I started working on nonfiction books and then I fell out of working on anything at all for a while... now I've started again. Right now I'm working on "how to learn languages" but a couple days ago it was one for Chinook Jargon... last month it was for Japanese... orz

I had to quit the class because due to how my house is, it'd have been impossible to study everything that was required and pass. I'm trying to sign up for the same course at half the speed for spring, and the goal was to get really ahead during this semester while I wasn't doing anything, but I ended up not getting much ahead either. I have to get back to working on that ;_; I don't know if I'll even make it into the class this time because if you've quit it once, you can't just register as normal the second time, you have to do a special re-registration and they'll only let you in if they have room.

If I keep making myself work on Japanese somehow or other I'll just get further and further ahead by the time I can keep taking the class though... and even if I for some reason never make it back in, I can just take the Japanese national language placement exam instead. I also have to sign up for the same exam for Swedish soon....

The books and things are going okay, I'm going a lot slower than I should be and I keep switching between which one I'm writing on but at least it's "going". I started learning to draw a couple days ago (my wife is teaching me). I've also been experimenting with magnifying sheets, you can see it here:
