Esperanto is really fast to learn too! I can teach you a lot better than the shitty lessons that are generally out there, I'm almost done writing lessons for it anyway.

I love LJ, it's just sad that so many people have abandoned it for Tumblr. I really hate Tumblr, lol. I tried it for a couple years and just had one bad experience after another - no fandom people are actually making fandom stuff, I post my opinions and I get hatespam, I post explanations of something and I get hatespam because I didn't write every single little detail on the subject... People follow me but never write anything to me or even write in reblogs, and so they might as well be bots. Sigh!!

I'd have stuff published if I could just get off my butt and finish anything!! I'm working on like three different language textbooks, memoirs, this periodical, and probably a ton of stuff that I've forgotten. I keep making projects that are too big for myself, and should be content to just publish a fourth of a book or something but nooo...

I only write simply because in these years of being abroad I haven't been talking to English native speakers, so then "simplifying" everything I say and write becomes first-nature. (Eventually I also just started getting angry at modern English - why do we need so many words? WE DON'T!) I forget a lot of words now too, stuff like "trailer" which just doesn't come up in daily life much. My spelling's gotten a lot worse too.... haha. I also keep getting times where people misunderstand me so I keep trying harder and harder to make what I mean really clear.
